Family Emphasis
A strong family whatever its makeup is a source of love, pride, security, support and fun. Every family develops its own “style”, much of which is influenced by how the parents were raised, their economic status and their friendships. While all families are unique, a successful family will accept each other’s strengths and weaknesses, maintain an open channel of communication, respect each other, provide guidance when appropriate, and set aside time to enjoy each other’s company.
West Mayfield Residents
The American Legion extends a warm welcome to West Mayfield children and youth to participate in its many local, state, and national programs promoting family, friendship, and citizenship among America’s youth.
Many programs offer generous cash awards, scholarships, and travel expenses. Deadlines apply.
