Code Enforcement Online

The borough’s code enforcement team has been busy recently addressing many ordinance infractions related to property maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, blight and eyesores, junk vehicles, and other quality of life matters. 

To better inform citizens about code issues, enforcement activities, and to provide easier access to the enforcement team, there is a dedicated page on the the borough’s official website.   

“Our goal is to educate residents about our ordinances and zoning regulations,” says Zoning Officer Tina Lampus.  “We want to work with people and give them a chance to respond to our notices.”  Taking legal action is a last resort for the borough, Ms. Lampus says, but she cautions that when necessary the borough has started pursuing legal action as prescribed by law.
